Warm hugs, imaginary or real, can bring relief!

With today’s uncertainty and social distancing Covid requirements, we all crave comfort and connections.

Close your eyes and ears to all the overflow of information noise. Find your center of warm thoughts that radiate from your heart and soul to your very essence of being. Meditate, write in your journal, or simply crawl under the winter blankets to clear your mind. Play some quiet music, or better still – listen to the silence. I like wrapping my hands around a warm cup of tea during these cold winter days while looking out my kitchen window at mother nature.

Just for a moment, let the world standstill. 

Imagine a warm embrace of caring wings surrounding you, whispering that you are ok. Despite all that is happening on the outside that is beyond your control, the stress you are feeling is a result of your internal struggle and resistance. Let the anger and frustration flow through you. Take a few moments to go out for a walk in nature to release the tension.  Trust that things happen for a reason, and believe that you are strong enough to survive these challenging times.

There are many people who are struggling right now and would appreciate sharing their own sadness or frustrations, or a shoulder to cry on!
